Staying present is our theme for the week of August 21st through the 27th. Are you living in the present? Think about it: ever tried driving forward while fixated on the rearview mirror? Not so easy, right? That’s what happens when we’re too hung up on the past or anxiously peering into the future. We miss the beauty and the choices that the present moment has to offer.

Living in the now allows us to go with the flow, embracing every choice and opportunity that comes our way. It’s about clearing the mental clutter, finding clarity, and truly understanding the environment around us. However, this is easier said than done.
For many of us, the past holds a tight grip, especially if we’ve experienced hurt, betrayal, or any form of emotional turmoil. By staying stuck in those memories, our perception of current situations can be distorted. A harmless gesture from someone in the present might be misconstrued as a betrayal just because of our past scars. By being truly present, we can break away from these cycles.
Delving deeper, some of us might feel the weight of *two major collective karmic cycles*:
**Seventh Chakra Imbalance:** This is when we’re swirling in decision paralysis. It’s like being at a crossroads with an infinite number of paths and feeling completely stuck. If this resonates, take a moment. Pause. Breathe. Which path feels right to you?
**Past Life Portal:** It’s that lingering feeling of being restricted, playing on a loop in our minds, making us believe we’re still trapped. But here’s the thing: sometimes, the perceived barriers in front of us are not as insurmountable as we think. It’s like seeing a wall and thinking it’s endless, while in reality, it might just be a short detour.
Life’s journey often presents us with challenges. But just like a river, we can either find a way around obstacles or gather enough strength to surge over them. The choice is ours.
So, this week, take off those blinders. Whether you’re reflecting on old wounds or anticipating the future, remember to come back to the now. Slow down, cherish the present, and remember: you’re more resilient and versatile than you give yourself credit for. Good luck out there, and here’s to living in the moment!
